Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- None

AR Review:

- Greg update AMI checklist items 2.1 through 2.3
  - Mike: Not sure what the suggested changes were

- Mike add descriptions to AMI checklist
  - No changes made

New items:

Mike showed the AMI checklist:
- Mike: Do we need a section for DLL checks?
- Greg: Is there a DLL checker out there?
- Bob: Cadence and SiSoft have DLL checking tools
  - HSPICE may have some capability too
  - None of this is sanctioned by the IBIS committee
- Mike: There are 36 ALGMOD error strings in IBISCHK

- Mike: Can checklist item 1.6 be moved to section 5?
  - It is about completeness of the IBS file
- Greg: Can s-params be used for that?
- Bob: We don't have all of the BIRDs in place to do that yet
- Mike: Tools mostly do that in non-standard ways
- Greg: Is the IBS file required?
- Mike: Some tools might work without it
- Eckhard: The IBS file helps to find the correct AMI and DLL files

Mike showed the list of IBISCHK error strings:
- Bob: This represents a starter list
  - It should also check for repeated parameters
- Mike: Should this be made public?
- Bob: It probably should be
- Mike: Answering questions about it might be a problem
- Bob: We would have to finish comment column E
- Mike: Should this be in our archive?
- Bob: It isn't ready yet
- Mike: Not sure what column A is
- Bob: It is the error number reported

Mike showed the IQ spec:
- Mike: We could insert a new section 6 for Algorithmic Models
- Bob: We could start with a separate document
  - At some point we might also insert IBIS 4.1 features we missed
  - It might take years to add AMI checks

AR: Mike start IQ spec section for Algorithmic Models

Greg: AMI checklist items that are SiSoft specific should be eliminated
- Bob: Some of these are dependent on features being ratified
- Mike: 5.1 and 5.2 in the draft should not be required, for example

AR: Greg remove AMI checklist items not relating to IBIS 5.0 or 5.1
